Outreach

Arise Church is partnering with Keepin’ It Real Ministries! This ministry serves the homeless population in Columbia, SC. KIR was founded by Pastor Oscar Gadsden, who once found himself in that situation while suffering from PTSD after serving in Desert Storm. There are many different ways to help serve this vulnerable community. Jesus said, “… Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me. Matthew 25:40 KJV.”

Arise Church will be serving in the following ways:
1. By facilitating a food and clothing drive
2. By making 125 sandwiches once a month.
3. By assisting on location with the weekly sorting and distribution of donations, as well as hosting a prayer table.

If you have any questions about how you can help, please contact Linn Dowell at linndowell@gmail.com.
