Brandon McClaine

Brandon McClaine was born and raised in the greater Columbia area. Brandon was raised in a Christian household and accepted Jesus Christ at 8 years old. Brandon, being raised in a family of five generations of preachers and teachers, decided to study theology at Columbia International University in 2017. Brandon is passionate about cultivating the generation of leaders and his favorite scripture is 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity”.

Dallas and Renee Freeland

Pastors Dallas and Renee have been in pastoral ministry for over 10 years. They planted Arise Church in 2019 in their living room with a handful of launch team members. They have been married for 18 years and have 5 amazing children. Pastor Dallas has a Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from Ohio Christian University and has been serving as a Bible teacher since 2009. He also currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia International University in Columbia, SC and The Gospel & Preacher Bible School in Columbus, OH. Pastor Renee is a graduate of The Gospel & Preacher Bible School and was ordained into the ministry under the Eagle Rock Covenant Network. She has served in various leadership roles in the church including Executive Pastor, Children’s Director and Small Group Leader. She carries a strong anointing for prayer and administration and is an excellent communicator of the Word of God.

Hope Calvert

As Children’s Director, I serve Arise Kids with fun and impactful ways to experience the Bible by implementing hands on approach and teachings. I dedicated myself to following Jesus as a young child, and have faithfully served him since 2016. In my free time I enjoy being present with my children. I also enjoy writing, taking photographs, and going on nature walks, which enriches my life and those I encounter.
